With record TV audiences mesmerized by London 2012, the NTAs presented a Landmark Award for coverage of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympics Games to our world-beating athletes and all those who made London 2012 so memorable. The Sportivate participants joined Clare Balding to present the award to Lord Coe, Sir Chris Hoy and David Weir CBE who represented Team GB and ParalympicGB in accepting the award which recognised the summer of sport as a stand out moment in British broadcasting.

Cumberland School have delivered a number of Sportivate projects including Trampolining, Fencing and Mountaineering and the trip to rub shoulders with the TV Stars was a reward for their excellent delivery.
