Royal Parks Foundation Youth Activities
The Royal Parks Foundation, the charity for London’s eight Royal Parks, is on a mission to encourage young people to get fit for their sport! Read on to find out more.
Pulse3K, sponsored by Haven, is a 3km run for 11-16 year olds in Hyde Park and is going to be one of the most exciting events on this year’s sporting calendar! Race day is Sunday 10th October 2010 and will take place alongside the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon.

Chips in the Park, is an opportunity to take part in free coaching sessions offering games and technical running advice.
Sessions are being held at the Hub in Regent’s Park for 11-16 year olds every Wednesday evening (5.30pm – 7.30pm) and Saturday mornings (9.30am-11.30am) from July – October 2010.
A new timing chip facility has been installed under the path here and you will be able to use personal timing chips to track your progress. Participants will receive a free chip and training booklet. To find out more, just visit www.pulse3K.com
Young Athlete school visits. The Royal Parks Foundation is also working with SportsAid to provide school visits by young athletes and future Olympic hopefuls!
