Pro-Active East London
Pro-Active East London
PRO-ACTIVE East London was established with the aim of developing existing and establishing new ways of using sport and physical activity to bring about positive change in the social and economic well being of East London’s communities.
East London is experiencing a time of significant regeneration investment and is the proud host of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, affording the Partnership and unparalleled opportunity to drive the development and legacy of sport and physical activity opportunities across the sub-region.
Our work covers ten London boroughs; Barking and Dagenham, Bexley, City of London, Greenwich, Hackney, Havering, Lewisham, Newham, Redbridge and Tower Hamlets.
Vision: Improve the welfare and quality of life for the people we serve through sport and physical activity.
Mission: We will create a legacy to retain the benefits from the Olympics for the stakeholders that we serve
We will secure resources to support and empower local communities to improve health and well being through better access to sport and physical activity.
