Delivery System
Sport England’s Delivery System for Sport and Physical Activity provides the framework and context within which Pro-Active East London operates.
The Delivery System enables Pro-Active East London to connect participants and local deliverers with policy makers and investors in a simple and coordinated way. This ensures that policy development, investment and the delivery of sport and physical activity are framed around the needs of communities, leading to the unlocking of resources for sport and physical activity through careful planning, joined up thinking and powerful advocacy.
The diagram below shows the relationship between the key components of the system and how National and Regional partners connect to the sub-regional and local elements of the System.
Acting in the role of a County Sports Partnership, Pro-Active East London and the sub-region’s Community Sport & Physical Activity Networks are the two key elements of the Delivery System at the local level, offering a bottom up, top down mechanism that targets investment to where it is needed most. Guided by Sport England London Region, Pro-Active East London operates through a core team of staff and reports to its own Board.
